José Hernández Moreno, is the first Mexican astronaut to be a part of NASA. He was born in a humble home of Mexican peasant immigrants who crossed the border into the US looking for a better life. His motivation to become an astronaut started when he was working collecting vegetables in California. Since then, his effort and dedication allowed him to reach his dreams. Today, José is running, by expressed petition of the President of the USA himself, as Governor of the State of California.
