
Of German mother and Nigerian father, she was adopted at 7 and, with time, she lost contact with her biological mother. It was at 38 when, by accident, she found a book where she recognized her mother in the cover. The book told the story of Amon Leopold Goeth and his daughter Monika, Jennifer´s biological mother.
Goeth, a commander at a Nazi concentration camp, and his story is shown in the Steven Spielberg “Schindler´s List”. When discovering her roots and with the help of a journalist, she wrote the book, “Amon. My grandfather would have shot me.”
