Known in his country as “Papa Jaime”, he has spent over 30 years working with children and teenagers who live in the streets and the sewage system of different Colombian cities. This commitment has resulted in the creation of an NGO Fundación Niños de los Andes a well-known social institution that looks after 6,000 people yearly.
